 Happily Ever After!

And Then? 

Exciting dates, 

Sweet rushes,

Preparations... 

And finally, the big day;

You're getting married! 

"We're getting married! "

"We're married!"

Let's fast forward;

Because compared to "after", 

"Before" becomes too short! 

The week after the wedding... 

No no, let's go a bit further! 

Like three or five months further... 

How will life look like? 

The laundry, the dishes... 

The heating bill, the rent... 

Relatives, the house visits... 

The TV shows, the films... 

A little good, a little bad... 

Repeated routines! 

When the first excitement... 

And the sugar coated words go away, 

Discussions begin! 

While the responsibilities pile up, 

"Responsible"s go away one by one! 

If this is "the after" of the story;

Then how about "the end"? 

Who puts up with the spoiled one,

Other than their mother?

How does one make ammends,

If one wishes to agree? 

Let’s go a bit further;

Two or three years later…

How can one say “I can’t love you anymore”,

When one could love before?

 

The breathing hitches, the heart thumps like crazy…

Can’t hide the tremors in one’s body…

The voice… the hands…

Waiting for a touch,

To hear a thousand sighs. 

 

No one gets…

The happiness…

The joy…

 

So close in the same house..

Yet so far from becoming a home…

The ones who can’t realize each other’s needs…

Really; Could I have the same taste as I did before?

Asks before losing one’s mind;

How do people get better?

How do hearts beat for each other again?

How to be happy?

Could everything come back to where it started?

And when one feels the draught;

Consulting to someone comes to mind…

Every problem has a solution, certainly…

And every question has an answer…

 

Wake up early…

Have your sun rise…

Flex a little…

Relax…

Finish what you started…

Remember the roles that were given…

Give your best reaction…

Try to understand first..

Who needs what?

Remember! The ones who meet the needs of others, have their needs met…

Treat your loved ones…

Don’t  stop your flow…

With a little bit of patience…

And good intention and prayer…

And a little bit against your wishes…

And a lot of forming reasons to go on…

Can’t you accomplish better, always?
